to Cadiz from this Port of London or other … to Cadiz from this Port of London or other port of England as this deponent<br />
beleiveth, and for the same Accompt. and this deponent sold the sayd stuffes<br />
in the Indies, and brought the proceed thereof to Cadiz in sylver, and there<br />
delivered the same to Pedro Calvo all for the same Accompt, and the sayd<br />
Pedro Calvo did att Cadiz acquaint this Rendent that he had order from<br />
Paulus Cobrisse to transmitt to him and his accompt to fflanders the proceed<br />
of the sayd English stuffes; of which proceed the moneyes and sylver<br />
now claymed was and is a part. And further saith that the sayd Pedro<br />
Calvo and Pedro Navarro did acquaint this deponent that they had laden<br />
the sayd money and sylver for the Accompt of the sayd Paulus Cobrisse<br />
And otherwise cannot depose.

To the 25th de saith that about the 8th day of October 1652 the interrate<br />
Christian Cloppenbergh att Cadiz in the howse of the interrate Pedro<br />
Calvo signed .9. bills of lading for the moneyes and sylver now claymed<br />
videlicet. three of one tenor for the sayd nyne fardells of sylver. and three<br />
more of one tenor for the sayd two barrs of sylver and ten baggs of<br />
Ryalls or peices of 8/8, and three more of one tenor for the sayd four baggs<br />
of peices of 8/8, and haveing so done delivered all the sayd nine bills to<br />
the sayd Pedro Calvo. and ymmediately in the sayd tyme and place pedro<br />
Calvo delivered back .3. of the sayd bills that is to say of<br />
each distinct tenor one, to the sayd Christian Cloppenbergh all loose<br />
and without covers, in the presence and sight of this deponent And<br />
otherwise cannot depose.
