To the 7th. hee saith that the interogated … To the 7th. hee saith that the interogated W:m ?Harlye was as hee<br />
beleiveth the Sonne in Lawe of the producent George Searle<br />
the Elder and was put into the Command of the sayd Ship by the<br />
[XaXXXX] consent as hee conceaveth and beleeveth. of all parties interessed<br />
in the said ship. and [?her] designe. And further cannot depose.
To the 8th. hee saith that hee was Master of and abord this said ship the<br />
Constant when hee tooke all the said prizes All or most of which hee<br />
saith were brought into the harbour at Portsmouth. And other<br />
wise cannot depose.
To the 9th hee referreth himselfe to his foregoing Depon And<br />
to the Registry of this Court And otherwise cannot more particulerly<br />
depose
To the 10th hee saith that hee this Examinate tooke an Exact and<br />
pticular account of each parcell of goods taken and brought in by the said<br />
Ship the ''Constant'' in which ship taken by [?her] by the Invoyces<br />
and other papers w:ch hee found On board touching the same and by<br />
[XXX] confessions and declaracons of the respective Masters of [?such]<br />
vessells. And otherwise saveing his foregoing deposition hee saith<br />
hee cannot depose.
To the 11th hee saith that hee hath not yet receaved his dues for<br />
his share of prizes taken by the said ship but hath sold the same<br />
with others of the said ships company to Mr Henry Stephens before his<br />
decease. and hath not yet receaved thee Som for which hee soe sold the<br />
Same but expects it of and from the Administrators of him the said Stephens.<br />
And saith hee for his part had not any money or<br />
Jewells or other [?plunder] out of any ship [XXX] dureing the said Voyages. Save only x: ''li'' which<br />
hee receaved of Capt Phillips for one Anchor and Cables which was on bord<br />
the [XXXXXX] and which by Agreement and consent did belong to this deponent. And<br />
otherwise cannot depose.
To the 12th hee answereth negatively to every part thereof.
To the 13th hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition And<br />
otherwise cannot depose.
