Sallach one bagg more of Peru moneyes of the fourth marke in the<br />
margent conteyning ninety nine peices of eight, of which 99 peices of<br />
8/8 of the sayd 4th marke the arlate Malasse Sallach aforesayd ten was<br />
and att present is the true and lawfull Owner, All which sayd moneyes<br />
were so laden to be carryed and transported in the sayd shipp from Leghorne<br />
to Alexandria in Egypt, and there to be delivered unto the aforesayd<br />
respective Owners thereof according to their severall and respective<br />
proportions before expressed, The premisses this deponent knoweth to be true<br />
for that he saw all the sayd moneyes in the quiet possession of the sayd Beneditto<br />
Toresi att his howse in Leghorne, where this deponent likewise saw the same<br />
counted and bagged upp and marked and was by him the sayd Toresi<br />
then told that they did belong to and were the moneyes of the Producents<br />
according to the respective proportions aforesayd, and afterwards saw them<br />
laden for the respective Accompts aforesayd by him the sayd Beneditto<br />
Teresi who then was of this deponents knowledge the ffactor of the<br />
Producents, and did their merchandizing busines att Leghorne. And<br />
otherwise he cannot depose.
To the third Article of the sayd allegation This deponent saith that after the lading<br />
of the sayd respective parvells of moneyes on board the sayd shipp the ''Saint''<br />
''ffrancis'' att Leghorne as aforesayd the sayd shipp did sett sayle therewith toward<br />
Alexandria and in her Course thither was with her ladeing taken and seized<br />
by some shipps in the immediat service of this Commonwealth, and brought to<br />
this Port of London, And saith that att the tyme of the sayd seizure, all and<br />
singular the aforesayd parcells of moneyes were and remained on board the<br />
sayd shipp the ''Saint ffrancis'' and came to the hands and possession of the Takers<br />
thereof. which he this deponent knoweth being a Passenger aboard the sayd<br />
shipp and in her att the sayd tyme of seizure. And otherwise cannot depose
