the ''Saint John Evangelist'' aged 31 yeares a<br />
witnes sworne and examined deposeth and<br />
saith as followeth videlicet.
To the first article if the sayd allegation this deponent saith that neing a native<br />
o Antwerpe and there having lived a great part of his tyme<br />
he knoweth well the arlate widdoe of Nicholas Cassares and<br />
so hath done for theis 20 yeares last past, and knew well the sayd<br />
Nicholas in his life tyme who hath now bene dead about 4 or 6 yeares<br />
And saith that the sayd Nicholas in his liefe and his widdow since his<br />
death did drive a Constant trade from Antwerpe the place of their<br />
dwelling to Malaga Sevelia dn Cadiz in Spaine for sylver<br />
and other goods, and had and now the sayd widdow hath factors<br />
Agents and Correspondents att and in the sayd ports and places<br />
in Spaine to and for the better mannaging of the sayd trade, and<br />
so much this deponent having bene formerly an Inhabitant of<br />
