To the 17th and 18th he saith the sayd shipp on or about the 19th day of december<br />
last past old stile upon her Course to Embden mett with a violent<br />
storme upon the English Coast and by stresse of weather and it<br />
being night was driven neere the shoare and in the morning<br />
this deponent found the sayd shipp to be in Monkes bay, and her<br />
thereupon cast anchor, att five fadom water, having lost his<br />
anchors before att sea, and further that a ffisher boat comeing<br />
that way this deponent and shipps Company being in danger of<br />
pershing made shift and did save themselves i the sayd<br />
ffisher boat and gott all safe to land, and that they left behind<br />
them in their sayd shipp two live Cockes. and that about three howers<br />
after the storme being well over and the wind standing right<br />
this deponent for 20 Ryx dollars hired the sayd fisherboat to carry<br />
himselfe and Company a shipboard againe
