The claime of Daniel Slegall of}<br />
Stockholme for the ''Peter'' Matthias}<br />
Cornelison master. Suckley. Budd.}
'''Mathias Cornelison''' of Amsterdam Mariner, master<br />
of the said shipp the ''Peter'' aged 46 yeares or<br />
thereabouts sworne and examined.
To the first article of the said alleagtion hee saith and deposeth that<br />
in the yeares 1644 or 1645 and in the summer time, during the warre<br />
betwixt the Dane and Sweden, the shipp the ''Saint Peter'' arlate was [?seized]<br />
by the ''Swann'' and ''Calmermarkle'' two of the shipps in the immediate service<br />
of the Queene of Sweden in the sound from the Kinge of Denmarke<br />
in whose immediate service shee was to the time of the said seizure<br />
which hee knoweth to be true because hee this deponent was then [?there]<br />
in the service of the said Queene aboard her Admirall whereof<br />
this deponent was Captaine. And saith that the producent Daniel Slegall<br />
was and is one of the Nobilitie of Sweden, and was then alsoe in the<br />
said Quens service, in persuance of the said expedition against the [?Dane]<br />
of this deponents sight and knowledge, and after the said seizure<br />
namely the next winter following the said seizure the said Daniell<br />
Slegall of this deponents sight and knowledge bought the said shipp<br />
the ''Peter'' of and from the said Queens officers at Stockeholmeom the said Queens officers at Stockeholme +
