worse with lyeing aboard the shipp the Chestnutts especially being<br />

To the ffourth Interrogatory he saith there was aboard the sayd shipp at the<br />
tyme of her seizure a sea breife, one bill of lading and two<br />
small packetts of letters all which were taken out of the chest of this deponent when<br />
Captaines Company that made the seizure. And otherwise negatively for<br />
his part And further cannot depose.

To the 1. 2. 3. and 4th. Interrogatories This deponent saith, that the sayd<br />
shipp the ''Posthorse'' for these .11. weekes of this deponents knowledge [?hath]<br />
belonged to the Port of Amsterdam where her owners live one<br />

abide long aboard the sayd shipp, and saith the sayd shipp was<br />
att the tyme of her seizure bound for Amsterdam with her lading<br />
and thither should and would have returned in case she had not<br />
bene interupted, and the sayd goods were there to be delivered to the<br />
severall persons there livinge And saith there were some papers<br />
aboard the sayd shipp when she was seized the Contents whereof<br />
he knoweth not all which came into the hands and possession <br />
of the seizors and further otherwise than negatively cannot<br />
depose saving that the sayd shipp was built in Norway.
