Transcription The 13th day of December 1653 The Claime The 13th day of December 1653 The Claime of Henry Baldero et cetera} '''Suckly dt''' '''2''' '''John Mardy''' of Spraughton in the County of<br /> Suffolke merchant aged 36. yeares or thereabouts<br /> a witnes sworne and examined deposeth and saith<br /> as followeth videlicet. To the first Article of the sayd allegation This deponent saith that for<br /> diverse yeares last past there hath bene an English Companie of<br /> Merchant Adventurers resident in the Citty of Roterdam, and that<br /> the arlate Henry Baldero for about ten yeares of the knowledge<br /> of this deponent (who being his kinsman lived in howse with him<br /> att Rotterdam) hath bene one of the sayd Company, and hath beene<br /> for some tyme now past, and att present is the Treasurer<br /> of the sayd Company, and for and as such commonly accounted, as<br /> this deponent hath credibly heard and beleivethy. And otherwise<br /> cannot depose.
