To the 8th and 9 hee saith that upon his signing the bills of lading hee kept one of each<br />
(being those brought in the shipp which were never out of his custody till the same<br />
were delivered at Plimouth) by him, and delivered the other two for each parcell to the persons<br />
that brought them or procured the signing thereof, being the persons that laded the said<br />
silver for the most part, and the rest the servants or such as were imployed by<br />
therest of the said laders to bringe the said bills to be signed, And otherwise saving<br />
his foregoing deposition to which hee referreth himselfe hee cannot depose.
To the 10th and 11th hee saith hee was never at Cadiz or Saint Lucars in merchant imployment<br />
before this voyage, nor did hee ever lade or bringe silver thence before this<br />
present voyage, and otherwise referring himselfe as aforesaid hee cannot<br />
depose.
To the 12th and last hee saith that for greate and considerable quantities of<br />
silver hee beleeveth that it is against the lawes of Spaine and forbidden<br />
as a Capitale crime to lade and export it from Spaine, but for<br />
oettie quantities of small importance, hee beleeveth that the same is not<br />
soe looked after, nor the persons lading it liable to any greate danger, and<br />
otherwise hee cannot depose, not being acquainted with the customes and<br />
practises of Spaine in the point of ladeing silver.

dominion of the king of Spaine the severall and respective quantities and<br />
