''Michaell'' aged about 44 yeares a witnesse<br />
sworne and examined in this Cause deposeth<br />
as followeth.
To the first and second articles of the said allehgation and to the schedules or bills<br />
of Ladeinge therein mentioned beinge showen unto him att the tyme of his examination<br />
and by him diligently perused hee sayeth and deposeth That hee well knew the arlate Danyel<br />
Sloyer whilest he lived whoe departed this life att Hamborow about twelve moneth<br />
[?sinceXX] and knoweth likewise his wydowe the producent in this cause beinge the<br />
Respondents neere neighbour in Hamborowe where shee liveth with her children and family<br />
And sayeth That he this deponent being Steeresman of and aboard the Shipp the ''Angell''<br />
''Michael'' arlate in or about the moneth of November 1652 arlate and in the [?XXXX]<br />
of the same day somewhat towards the Evening did receive and lade aboard the Shipp<br />
the ''Saint Michaell'' from the hands of twoe Boate or Barksmen whoe brought the same<br />
from Cadiz arlate the said Shipp beinge then in the bay of cadiz one Barr of silver<br />
without a bag and one bag or sacke conteyning twoe little barrs of silver marked with
[FIRST MARKE, LH MARGIN]
the first marke in the margent but the weight of the same silver or what the said [?barrs]<br />
conteyned in valew hee cannot say and likewise one Pigg of Silver putt upp in a bagg
[SECOND MARKE, LH MARGIN]
and marked with the second marke in the margent and sealed with the seale in yje [?XXX]<br />
Bill of Ladeing now appeareing but the weight or the valew thereof hee
[THIRD MARKE, LH MARGIN]<br />
cannot depose and likewise three packes of silver more of the thrid marke in the<br />
margent and one packe more marked likewise one packe more
[FOURTH MARKE, LH MARGIN]
wherein there was a peece of Silver marked with the fourth marke in the marhent and<br />
sealed upp fast with the seale on the same Bills of Ladeing now appeareing<br />
