and on board the ship the ''White Angell'' … and on board the ship the ''White Angell'' interrogated at such tyme as shee<br />
was seized by the ''Phoenix ffrigott'' And saith hee hath belonged to her<br />
ever since the moneth of October last past and came first on bord her att Amsterdam<br />
at which Port shee was then bought by the Owners thereof And otherwise cannot<br />
depose./
To the second third and 4th Interrogatories hee saith that John Bollart a fflandrian by birth and<br />
a merchant dwelling in the Citty of Antwerpe is the sole owner of the said shipp<br />
the ''White Angell'' and of her tackle apparell and furniture. And saith that hee this<br />
deponent in or about the said moneth of October last past was desired by the said<br />
Bollart to goe from Antwerp to Amsterdam to ffetch the said shipp which the said Bollart<br />
then affirmed hee had bought and paid for But saith hee never sawe any bill of<br />
sale or money paid for the same. And otherwise hee cannot depose<br />
saveing that hee this deponent ever since October last hath nin Master of the said ship<br />
and was soe constituted by the said John Bollart the owner thereof. And<br />
otherwise cannot depose.
To the 5th Interrogatorie hee saith that when this deponent came first from fflanders to<br />
take the comand and possession of the said vessell as aforesaid the shipper who then<br />
was upon her and who sold the same unto the said Bollart told this deponent<br />
that the said ship had bin by him brought to Amsterdam from the Eastland<br />
where shee was built as may appeare by the manner and fashion of her<br />
built and make. And saith shee begunne her Outwards voyage from Dunquirke<br />
where she receaved in her outwards ladeing in the moneth of ffebruary last past<br />
at which tyme shee sailed to the Port of Gibralter and from thence<br />
to Mallaga . att which Port shee receaved in her present ladeing of wines oyles<br />
and Raisins and was when she was seized bound therewith to Dunquirke for the account<br />
of the said John Bollart and [?XXXX] [?XXXXX] [?XXXXXX] And further cannot depose.

To the 9th Interrogatorie hee saith that hee this Examinate is an Antwerper by birth<br />
and liveth with his wife and family in Dunquirke And that hee hath noe Interest either<br />
in the said ship or her ladeing save only that hee hath one Butt of Oyle<br />
ffower frailes of Raisins on bord the said shipp for his owne Accompte and<br />
that hee had allsoe on bord the said shippe when she was seized the number of<br />
one hundred Guilders fflemish money and one hundred and [?XXXX] score peeces<br />
of eight all which was taken from him at the tyme of the seizure thereof<br />
by the Company belonging to the ship ''Phonix'' aforesaid wherefore hee saith<br />
that if the said ship and goods should bee condemned for prize or restored this deponent<br />
is [?like] to suffer damage or [??XXXX] his owne goods and moneys accordingly. And further cannot<br />
depose.
