Master of the said shipp the ''Salvador''<br />
aged 42 yeares or thereabouts sworne the day<br />
aforesaid before the right worshipfull John Exton<br />
doctor of Lawes one of the Judges of the high Court<br />
of the Admiraltie and examined upon certaine Interrogatories<br />
touching the said shipp ministred by authporitie of Parliament saith<br />
and deposeth as followeth, videlicet.
To the first Interrogatorie hee saith and deposeth that daniel Brandes<br />
Jerome [?Sniter], John Baptista Yoncker, Jerome Peterson, Garret<br />
Boormaster, Vincent Clingenbergh, Derrick Rubke, hendrick hamb[?rurgh]<br />
and hee this deponent all hamburgers and natives Burghers and<br />
Inhabitants of that citie and subiects of the free State of<br />
hamburgh where they have lived all their time and live at present<br />
with their wives and families were and are the true and sole owners<br />
of the said shipp the ''Salvador'' and of her tackle and furniture, and saith<br />
that the said derrick Rubke and this deponent have each of them<br />
a sixteenth part in the said shipp and the other persons aforesaid have every<br />
one of them an eighth part in her, All which hee knoweth being master of<br />
the said shipp and having soe bin ever since shee was built which her<br />
building was donne at hamburgh in the yeare 1647 at the chardge of the<br />
said owners, and by the management and oversight of this deponent by their<br />
order, and they have from time to time ever since set her out as owners<br />
and contributed towards the chardge of such her setting out according to their<br />
said respective parts.
