To the Crosse Interrogatories. [CENTRE HEADING[
To the first Interrogatorie hee saith that the said ship the ''Gabriell'' was<br />
seized about three or fower Englishe miles distant from Olsermens And<br />
otherwise referring himselfe to his foregoeing deposition hee saith hee<br />
cannot depose saveing that hee this Examinate hath noe<br />
share either in the said ship or goods save only that hee hath<br />
about halfe a hundred of deales therein.
To the second Interrogatorie hee saith that the said ship the Henry Entr[XXXX GUTTER]<br />
was in the Custody and power of the company of the said dunquirke man of<br />
warre when shee was rescued and retaken by Captaine Cappai, at which<br />
tyme there was (sic) three men and a boy besides this deponent of her owne<br />
company abord her and nine of the Pyratts. And otherwise hee<br />
cannot depose.
To the third Interrogatorie hee saith that those by whom the said shippe<br />
the ''Gabriel'' were seized were some of them ffrench some Englishe<br />
some scotts and some irishe but none of them of any nation that<br />
were at enmitye with denmarke or the subiects thereof. And<br />
saith that she was about 2 howers and a halfe space in the custody of the<br />
said man of warre before she was rescued. And otherwise hee<br />
cannot depose. saveing that in case shee had not bin rescued as<br />
aforesaid the said ship the Gabriel as hee verily beleeveth had bin<br />
carryed away for dunquirke.
To the fowrth Interrogatorie hee saith that there were about a hundred and fiftie<br />
deale bords which doe belonG unto the Master unto this deponent and unto the<br />
rest of the said ships Company besides the goods mentioned in the schedule<br />
annexed abord the said ship. And further hee cannot depose.
