the duke of fflorence his gallies to ligorne and thither the said Jacomo<br />
went from Trapany in a Spanish barke and they all met at ligorne<br />
of this deponents knowledge, going alsoe in the said Gallie, And<br />
saith they came from Ligorne in a boate to Marseilla, and thence<br />
by land to Callice, and thence in a boate to dover. but whether it was<br />
ffrench or English hee knoweth not, And otherwise hee cannot answer.

or thereabouts, sworne and examined
To the first abd second articles of the said allegation and to the bills of lading or<br />
schedules annexed showed unto him at the time of his examination hee<br />
saith and deposeth that hee well knoweth the parties producent and<br />
and (sic) that within the time arlate and before and at the time of the lading<br />
of the goods mentioned in the said schedules, the said producents were and<br />
at present are the true and lawfull owners and proprietors of the said<br />
goods and for such commonly accompted and reputed, videlicet the said Coja<br />
Jacomo owner of those mentioned int the first of the said schedules and<br />
the said [XXXXX] karmar of those mentioned in the second, and saith<br />
that within the said time videlicet about six monethes since (the time<br />
more preceisely hee remembreth not) that the said producents in the Port<br />
of Smyrna did lade all and singular the said goods and merchandizes in the<br />
same respective schedules mentioned abord the ship the ''Saint Martyn'' for theire owne<br />
propper use and accomompts to bee transported from thence in the said ship<br />
to Leghorne where the same was to bee delivered unto theire Agents<br />
or Assignes for their behoofes and accompts All which hee knoweth to bee true because hee<br />
this deponent was present at and went with the said Kamar to Gyla?m in Persia<br />
where and when hee bought the said goods mentioned in the second schedule and<br />
soe returned with him from Gylam to Smirna againe and there sawe the same, [?being GUTTER]<br />
laden abord the ''Saint Martyn'' to bee transported from thence to Leghorne and did<br />
allsoe see the said Cogia Jacomo lade the said goods mentioned in the said first schedule<br />
at Smyrna and did with the said parties producent after the lading of the said<br />
goods come along with them on the said ship the ''Saint Martyn'' for Leghorne<br />
And further hee cannot depose.
To the third article of the said Allegation and to the said two schedules annexed<br />
hee saith and deposeth That the said schedules were and are the very [XXX GUTTER]<br />
and originall bills of Lading for the said respective goods therein conteynes<br />
and the same were and are subscribed by and with the propper handwriting<br />
of the arlate Michael Audric who at this tyme was Master or Commander<br />
of the said shippe the ''Saint Martyn'', which said subscription hee saith<br />
was soe made and done by the said Audric in the house of one M[XXXX GUTTER]<br />
