whereof Thomas Willoughby was then master and then and there<br />
sawe the said ship the ''Eagle''. And further he cannot depose.
To the second Interrogatorie hee saith that the said ship the ''Eagle''<br />
was bound with her ladeing abord her from the said Iland of<br />
Pr[?uices] to the Iland of Barbadas to which place shee was therewith<br />
consigned And saith that accordingly and in order thereunto<br />
the said ship the ''Eagle'' departed and left the Coast of Guiney<br />
about the middle of the moneth of August 1650.<br />
which hee knoweth to be true because hee was as aforesaid<br />
at the said place with the ''Eagle'' when she departed from Ginney<br />
for the Barbadas and was then abord the ''ffortun[?a]'' which was<br />
in consortship with her and was then bound to the Barbadas<br />
together with the said ship the ''Eagle'' and thereby cometh to knwe<br />
the premisses to bee true as is predeposed . And otherwise<br />
hee cannot depose.
To the third Interogatorie hee saith and deposeth that the<br />
said ship the ''Eagle'' was well at such tyme as<br />
shee departed from Ginney and being a better<br />
sayler than the ''ffortun[?a]'' did runn to the windward<br />
from her in her Course for the Barbadas at which place<br />
this deponent thought to have fownd her when hee<br />
Arrived there in the ''ffortuna[?a]'' Howbeit hee saith that<br />
from the tyme that she soe Left the ''ffortuna[?a]'' in thire<br />
way from Ginney towards the Barbadas the said ship the<br />
''Eagle'' was never heard of either by this deponent or<br />
any other that hee knoweth of But as hee verily<br />
beleeveth was and is lost at Sea But hee or in[XXXX] other<br />
manner than as aforesaid hee saith hee knoweth not
And otherwise hee cannot depose.

saoid ship the ''Eagle'' was in the parts of Ginney interrogated and<br />
before this deponent sawe her at the Iland of P[XXXXes] the<br />
