last past, and was then bound from thence unto this Port of London<br />
in the service oand imployment of severall Merchants liveing<br />
in London aforesaid And this hee deposeth for that hee was Master<br />
thereof as aforesaid, and in her the intended voyage, And further<br />
hee saith hee cannot depose./
To the second hee saith that att such time as the said shipp went out<br />
from Bristoll Captaine William Thomas, and the Producent Mary<br />
Shotton were PartOwners of the said shipp, and saith that she the<br />
said mary was Owner of [?three] Eight Parts thereof, And further<br />
referreing himself to his former deposition and reasons aforesaid<br />
hee saith hee cannot depose
To the third hee saith that the said Shipp in her course of p{XX]ing<br />
upon the said voyage betweene Bristoll and London was taken off the<br />
Lands end by Captaine dan Comander of a Man of warr of<br />
Jersey upon the Eleaventh day of Aprill last past, and was so<br />
surprized with her tackle apparell and furniture, and did remaine<br />
and continue with her ladeing and Company in the power possession and<br />
comand of those that tooke her as a prize for [?three] dayes or thereabouts<br />
and she and her Company were disposed of by them and<br />
in theire possession for all that time which hee knoweth for that hee<br />
was on bord the said shipp when she was taken, And he further saith<br />
that afterwards the said shipp was [?re]taken from the said Enemie<br />
by Captaine Parsons a private man of warr of<br />
Absham, and was carried into Milford haven, and l[?e]ft in the power<br />
and possession of Mr Justine white vice-Admirall there, ffor which hee<br />
saith that hee beleeveth that the said producent hath not reced<br />
any recompence or satisffaction for the same. And further hee saith hee<br />
cannot depose.

To the first hee saith that att the time of the seisure of the said<br />
Shipp she the said producent was Part Owner of<br />
three Eigths of the said shipp which hee saith in his Judgnebt was<br />
worth one hundred and fifty pounds sterling And further hee cannt depose/
To the 2d hee saith that the said shipp came from Bristoll about the<br />
beginning of March last, and did saile from thence to Milford Haven to<br />
[?seeke] a Convoy and afterwards by reason of contrary winds putt in to<br />
Saint Ives and so comeing from thence was taken by the Enemie as before<br />
hee hath deposed to which hee referreth himself, and further hee saith<br />
hee cannot answeare.
To the third hee saith the said shipp was taken upon the 11.th of Aprill<br />
last by a Jersey man of warr, whereat hee saith the said surprisers<br />
did take a boate which cost foure pounds ten shillings, an Anchor and a cable<br />
for which hee saith hee paid twenty shillinmgs to have the same againe<br />
and hee paid for other [XXXXs] more above forty shillings, [XXXXX XX] the rest hee<br />
beleeveth was or is to bee paid by Captaine Thomas and the Merchants<br />
ffreighters thereof And further he cannot depose./
