and Michaell Cadman the producents were and att this present ought to bee<br />
the true and lawfull Owners and Proprietors of the Shipp the ''Greyhound'' (now<br />
called the ''Lady ffrygott'') arlate and her tackle furniture and apparell<br />
And so were and are comonly Accompted reputed and taken, Which hee knoweth<br />
for that hee this deponent is a dweller in Rye and hath knowne her to goe out<br />
and come in [?her] belonging to the said Owners and further hee cannot depose./
To the second hee saith that within the time afore deposed the said shipp the<br />
''Greyhound'' was by the said Owners the producents sett out from Rye aforesaid<br />
and was bound for Arundell in the same County of Sussex to fetch<br />
Corne from Arundell and to transport the same to Rye, for the use and Accompt<br />
of the said Owners as aforesaid which hee knoweth for that hee saw her goe from<br />
Rye bound as aforesaid and understood so much by the Owners and<br />
Company of the said shipp, And hee saith that hee was credibly informed by<br />
John Waite one of the Company of the said shipp that shee was imediatly after mett<br />
withall surprized and taken by a Scielley man of warr and carried unto Jersey<br />
And further hee cannot depose./
To the third hee saith that hee this deponent being att Plymouth about<br />
the latter end of the moneth of Aprill last past (after such her surprizall<br />
as aforesaid did see the said shipp the ''Greyhound'' (now called the ''Lady'') brought<br />
in to Plyouth by the Company of the shipp the ''Amitie ffrygott'' whereof<br />
Captaine Parke was Comander in the imediate service of the Comonwealth<br />
and there hee saith the said shipp lately was which hee deposeth for that<br />
when she was brought into Plymouth and afterwards, hee was divers times<br />
on bord the said shipp the ''Greyhound'' And further hee cannot depose./
To the fourth hee saith that the shipp the ''Greyhound'' (as aforesaid) belong[XX GUTTER]<br />
to Rye where of the producents were Owners, And the shipp the<br />
''Lady ffrygott'' (so called) and retaken from the said Scilley men or Pyrates<br />
after the surprizall thereof, And so brought into the Port of Plymouth<br />
by Captaine Parke and which hee this deponent saw lately there as before is<br />
mentioned was and is one and the same shipp or vessell and not divers<br />
which hee knoweth for that hee was well acquainted with and assured thereof<br />
att Rye, and aswell knewe her att Plymouth to bee the same and further<br />
hee cannot depose./
To the 5th hee saith that the arlate Thomas Greenefeild Thomas<br />
marshall John Greenefeild and Michaell Cadman were and are Subiects<br />
of this Comonwealth and well affected to the Governement thereof and so were<br />
and comonly reputed And further hee cannot depose.
To the last hee saith that his foregoeing depositions were and are<br />
true And further hee cannot depose./

To the first hee saith that when the said shipp was brought in to Ply[?mouth GUTTER]<br />
she had one Gunn and some halfe pikes in her, And did belong to Rye<br />
after she was taken from the Ostenders and hee hath heard she was built<br />
att fflushing, And hee saith that the producents aforesaid are and ought to bee<br />
the owners thereof And further hee cannot depose or answare [?hereunto]
To the second hee saith that the said shipp was taken by the Scilley men as<br />
aforesaid from the possession of the Owners And was regained from them or other<br />
Rebells by Captaine Parke Comander of the ''Amitie'' who brought her in to<br />
Plymouth as is expressed in his former depositions to which hee<br />
referreth himselfe otherwise hee cannot answare.eth himselfe otherwise hee cannot answare. +
