the said Pratt the Master of the said shippe became<br />
indebted and [?XXted] money to defray the same<br />
and ther uppon the saud Taylor and [?Craff]<br />
sould the said Andrewes againe to [?XXXX]<br />
to the said Grocers for leave to lande some<br />
goodes to make monies to defraye the said<br />
debts, but Andrewes as hee said went to the<br />
said Governour and they had leave granted<br />
to Land some of tHE said goodes, And this hee<br />
affirmeth uppon his oath to be true,<br />
Et alr nescit./

Taylor and Pratt and othrs of his Company<br />
were selling the said pilchards, intending<br />
when they had done the same to [?XXX]<br />
for Saint Sebastians, the Officers at [?XXXX]<br />

and fetcht her fore saile a shoare, and there uppon<br />
the said Taylor and Pratt by the said Michaell<br />
Andrewes deducing the reason thereof<br />
those officers said as Andreas in this<br />
examinates heareing interpreted their selves<br />
that the Owners [?XXXX] have a third<br />
part of the pilchardes aboard the shipp shee<br />
beeing Laden for the most part therewith<br />
for that [?XXXX] [?XXX] pilchards at [?XXX]<br />
where hee Lived, And this hee affirmeth uppon<br />
his oath to bee true, Et alr nescit./
