aut circiter testis in hac parte productus iuratus et examinatus
Ad primum et secundum arlos allegacionis ex parte die de Thosse et al in hac<br />
parte dat et oblat dicit et deponit That the arlate Peter de Thosse<br />
and company within the tyme arlate were generally reputed at Dover<br />
to be owners of the arlate shipp called the ''ffortune'' of Dover (whereof<br />
Cornelius Charles Nieuport was master) and within the tyme aforesayd<br />
the sayd shipp sett sayle from the porte of Dover bounde for Saint<br />
Lucar in Spayne the premisses he knoweth to be true for that he was<br />
at Dover when the sayd shipp sett sayle fromthence, and the master of her<br />
before his foeinge forth on the sayd voyage toud this deponent<br />
that the sayd de Thosse and company were owners of her, and (to his nowe<br />
best remembrance) he this deponent sent out some letters in her to be delivered<br />
at Saint Lucar Et alr nescit deponere/
