being the time arlate soe leaky and<br />
insufficient a shipp att the Barbadoes<br />
that divers men would not adventure to send<br />
home any goods in her And otherwise<br />
they doe not nor any of them doeth<br />
beleeve the said pretensed position to bee<br />
true in any parte thereof
To the 24th 25th and 26th pretensed positions<br />
these respondents answer that they accept<br />

beleeveth that these rendents have<br />
receaved great damadge and losse by<br />
certaine passingers which came abord<br />
the arlate shipp the ''Jonathan and''<br />
''Abigall'' the voyadge arlate against the<br />
good will and likemig (sic) of these respon<br />
dents factors att the Barbadoes for<br />
the recovery of which damadge these<br />
respondents have commenced a suite<br />
against one Colonell draix for the said<br />
damadge and there are severall sutes<br />
commenced against these respondents<br />
by one Bardwell and others for the<br />
pretended losse and damadges of<br />
sugars brought home in the arlatebr />
