person or persons since his death did ever … person or persons since his death did ever pay or<br />
satisfy unto the said Middleton any more then a<br />
hundred seaventy nine pounds and five shillinges<br />
of the forseaid somme of two hundred and forty<br />
pounds agreed by him to be paid for the said<br />
sixteenth part of the said shipp and of her tackle and<br />
furniture And otherwise they nor any of them doe<br />
not nor doth beleeve the said pretended position<br />
to be true in any part thereof.
To the third position of the said pretended allegation<br />
they and every of them answeare and accept the<br />
contents thereof soe farr forth as they make for<br />
them, and beleeve that the arlate Allen hath<br />
appeared as Proctor in this cause for the arlate<br />
Edward Arlabeere Thomas Middleton and<br />
company, and that the company of the said<br />
Arlabeere and Middleton were in and by all<br />
the time of the voyage, in this cause libellate,<br />
the persons following, And that the said persons<br />
were for and during all the time arlate the<br />
respective owners and Proprietors of the severall<br />
and respective partes of the shipp arlate and<br />
of her tackle and furniture hereafter expressed<br />
videlicet Thomas humble owner of one 16th<br />
and one 32th part<br />
