Charterparty arlate, which he beleveth to<br />
bee true, and otherwise he doth not beleeve<br />
the said pretensed position to bee true in any<br />

To the 4th pretensed position this rendent answereth<br />
and beleeveth that the arlate Shipp the ''Unity''<br />
after this rendent had freighted her did<br />
depart, and sett saile from this port of<br />
London on the voyadge arlate, and safely<br />
arrived att the Island of the Canaries<br />
in the port or harbour of Loratava arlate<br />
on the 20th day of October arlate and not before<br />
as he beleeveth, and this rendent beleeveth<br />
that after the said shipps arrivall there<br />
the arlate Thomas fflawes went on shoare<br />
there, and delivered some of this rendents<br />
letters unto the arlate William Clapham<br />
one of this rendents factors there, and other<br />
letters unto severall other merchants att the<br />
Canaries with whom this rendent had<br />
likewise correspondence, and commerce<br />
and this rendent beleeveth that the arlate<br />
William Clapham did receave divers goods<br />
and letters directed, and consigned unto him<br />
by this rendent, and tooke notice of<br />
the arrivall of the said shipp on the 20th<br />
of October arlate, and not before ut<br />
credit, and otherwise he doth not beleeve<br />
the said pretensed position to bee true in<br />
