or fight but caused the Boate of the<br />
said shippe the ''Ulisses'' to be hoisted<br />
out and first sent his purser onboard<br />
the said ffrenchman to see what they were<br />
and afterwards went onboard her him<br />
selfe where hee continued feasteing and<br />
makeing merry as longe as hee pleased<br />
but had noethinge att all taken from him<br />
by the said ffrenchman or his Company<br />
as they beleeve And otherwise they nor<br />
either of them beleeve the said pretensed<br />
position to bee true in any parte thereof

and beleeve and either of them beleeveth<br />
that the last porte of discharge which the<br />
said shipp the ''Ulisses'' made the voyadge<br />
in question was att Zant and the last of<br />
her ladeinge was not discharged there<br />
untill about the 15th of August 1650 last<br />
past And otherwise they nor either of<br />
them beleeve the said pretensed position to<br />
bee true in any parte/
