I stopped a Barke<br />
called the ''Edward'' belonging to one<br />
Mr Webb which had in her some yarne<br />
and other goods and was left with Mr<br />
Richard d[?urrmont] att Leverpoole deputy<br />
Collector for Reprizall goods hee<br />
tooke 300 ''li'' Bond for the goods 300 ''li''<br />
The said Barke was with her goods<br />
restored by order of the Earle of<br />
Warwicke as I beleeve will appeare
Item in October 1644 I sent my<br />
Boate into Chester water and there<br />
shee surprized a Pinke called the<br />
''Mary'' of dublin haveing in her<br />
some Twenty Tonne of Coales<br />
and some five Tonne of cheese<br />
laden aboard of her bound for<br />
dublin being both in hostillity<br />
against the Parliament the coales<br />
and the cheese some 95 ''li''<br />
The Pinke called the ''Mary'' with<br />
her Coales and cheese I sent to the<br />
North of Ireland or to the west<br />
of Scotalnd to Maior Generall<br />
Munrowe or to Captaine Lewes<br />
[?dicks] or Captaine John [?Cusse]r />
