reth and beleeveth That att such time<br />
as the forty foure Caske of oiles in<br />
Controversie were put onboard this<br />
Rendents shipp att Legorne the same<br />
were very leakye and insufficient Caske<br />
and divers of the said Caske did want<br />
some foure and some three inches<br />
and some more as this Rendent beleeveth<br />
And soe much did Appeare<br />
to this Rendent and others att the time<br />
of the ladeing thereof And otherwise<br />
for his parte hee doeth not beleeve the said<br />
position to bee true in any part thereof:

as this Rendent did receave the oile<br />
in question hee did tell him whoe laded<br />
the same that the Caske was not suffic=<br />
cient And further hee referreth him=<br />
selfe to his subscription to his bill of<br />

of this Courte And otherwise for his parte<br />
hee doeth not beleeve the said position<br />
to bee true in any parte thereof
