John Hunt (b. ca. 1636; d. ?). Mariner.
Foremastman of the ketch the Bachelor.
Resident in 1657 in Colchester in the county of Essex.
Evidence from High Court of Admiralty
Twenty-one year old John Hunt deposed on November 24th 1657 in the High Court of Admiralty.[1] He was examined on an allegation on behalf of Giles Wigoner and company in the case of "The claime of Giles Wigoner and company owners of the ship the Bachelor of Colchester rescued by some of the shipps of this Comonwealth"[2]
