Colquite}

Which day ffrancklin appeared for Prescot
et cetera and Colquite for Read and made
themselves parties for them respectivelu in
whose presence the said ffrancklin gave an
allegation in writinge which the Judges at his
petition admitted as farr as the same is by law
admissible Which being soe admitted and repeated by
the said Colquite not beleevinge the same to be true The
Judges assigned the said ffrancklin to prove the said allegation
the third Session from hence and decreed for the party principall
the third day after of et cetera./.

Baker his Atturney ffrancklin}

Which day the said ffrancklin appeared
for the said Webb and made himselfe
party for him and alleadged that the said
hinde by the said Baker his Atturney doth
sue and implead the said Webb in the hospitall
Court of Saint Katherines for a matter or thinge
belonging to the Jurisdiction of this Court in contempt
of the lawe and Jurisdiction of the said Court and
thereupon the Judges did decree the said hinde and
Baker his Atturney to be monished to appeare in this
place upon Munday next in the morninge betweene the houres
of 9 and 12 to shew cause why articles of contempt should not be
admitted against them./.

Thursday the 13th of Aprill 1654 before all the
Judges et cetera in the dyning chamber et cetera in the
presence of Samuel howe Notary publique Appeared
the said ffrancklin and porrected a sentence definitive
in writinge which he desired to be read and given in the presence of the
said Smith dissentinge and desiringe Justice et cetera But the
Judges did read give and promulge the sentence by the said
ffrancklin porrected and did dondemne adjudge and doe in all
things as therein is contayned the said Smith dissenting and protestinge et cetera

George Meggett against the shipp the}
Edward whereof William Wood is master and}
against all et cetera Smith Colquite}

Which day before doctor Clerke and doctor Godolphin
Judges et cetera in the presence of Samuel jhowe
notary publique Appeared the said Colquite for
Alderman Andrew Richard Captaine Roger Twiddy
William Williams and company and made himselfe
party for them and alleadged that the said shippe
doth belonge unto them and produced for a suretee
John Cooke of the parish of Saint Michael Crooked Lane
London ffishmonger who submittinge himselfe et cetera obliged
himselfe et cetera for the said Alderman Andrew Richard Captaine
Roger Twiddy William Williams and company in the summe of
50 li of lawfull money of England to the said William hiccocks John
Tarlton and George Meggett to answer the action commenced by
them against the said shipp and to pay the said Alderman Andrew
Richard Captaine Roger Twiddy William Williams and companie shalbe
condemned in with expences of suite in case thye shall be overthrowne and
to bring forth the said parties in Judgement And unles et cetera Which caution
the Judges receaved by the consent of the said Smith and decreed
the said shipp to be released from the said seizure./,
