Transcription

To the tenth hee saith hee never sawe the sayd Pursers booke soe farr
as hee knoweth or remembreth.

To the 11th hee saith hee knoweth not in what language the sayd booke
is written.

To the 12th hee saith hee is not concerned/

To the 13th hee saith hee never sawe the Pursers booke of the sayd
Shipp remayning in the Registry of this Court./

To the 14th he saith hee was not of the Company of any of the shipps that
made the seizure/

To the 15th hee saith hee did never enter into the sayd shipp/

To the 16th hee saith hee never sawe and perused any of the
writings Interrogate./

To the 17th hee saith that soe farr as hee knoweth hee bever
sawe the shipp the Salvadore at Amsterdam./

To the 18th hee is not concerned/

To the 19th hee saith in the beginning of the yeare 1649 hee lived
at Rotterdam and there continued till June 1652 and then hee came
for England and lived in East Smithfeild till about this tyme was
two yeares, and then went to Rotterdam, and there and too and fro in
holland lived about five moneths and then returned for England And
ever sincethence hath lived oin East Smithfeild where his now dwelling
is and further hee cannot depose/

To the 20th hee saith hee never was at Cadiz/

Ti the 21th hee saith hee never sawe any silver delivered out
of the sayd shipp Salvadore at Amsterdam to any person
soe farr as hee knoweth./

To the 22th hee is not concerned/

To the 23th hee saith hee never was at Cadiz/

To the 24th hee is not concerned./

Tio the 25th hee saith hee was not at Cadiz, and saving that the sayd
three shipps and Masters by Common reporte came from Cadiz
cannot further depose./

To the 30th
