The aforementioned Giles Nicholls to the Interrogatoryes. [CENTRE HEADING]

To the first Interrogatory he answereth that he commeth to testify
of the desire of the sayd John Jackson, that he was Masters
Mate in the shipp the desire interrate the voyage in controversy/
that there is not a penny behind hand for his this Rendents
wages fir the sayd voyage, And to the rest he answereth
negatively./

To the second Interrogatory he answereth that the shipp interrate
ankored halfe way between the barr and the haven of
Tinmouth at an usuall place for shipps to anckor, when
letted by crosse winds from getting into the haven, and that
she lay at anckor at the said place nigh 24 houres before
the damage happened unto her by the Sisters interrate
And he answereth that he hath spoken and will speake the
truth without partiallity either to the Desire or her Owners
And further he caanot answeare.

To the third Interrogatory he answereth that about halfe an
hower before the damage happened unto the desire interrate
there past by John Grays shipp of London, who went
by asterne the Desire, and the Providence of Newcastle
(Marke Cooke Master) which passt by ahead of her
that the sayd Grays shipp was of the burthen of about 300
Tonnes, and that the Providence was about the burthen of
130 Tonns, and that the wind was then when they passt by
the Desire at West or West by South and the tide about 3
quarters flood, and that the wind was the same when the
Sisters came up, and the tide more then three quarters
spent, and he saith that he is the person that out of the desire
being Masters Mate of her seeing the Sisters come directly
towards her call out, And further referring himselfe
to his former deposition he cannot answeare.

testify in this cause at the desire of John Jackson the
Master, that he was none of the said shipp the Desire her
Company, but only came aboard her to helpe the weather
being then very stormy and tesmpestuous, And to the
rest he knoweth not to answeare./

To the second Interrogatory he answereth that the shipp the
