To the 9th hee saith that the arlate Peter Lams liveth at present
at dunquirke where this deponent was lately at his house, and till
dunquirke was regained by the Spaniards lived in Ostend in fflanders
where hee still keepeth a servant and a warehouse, and was and
is a subiect of the kinge of Spaine and for such commonly accompted
and reputed, and by reason of such his convenient dwelling and being
at those parts, his name was and is used by the said producent
(like as by othere merchants of Antwerp) for consigning of silver and goods unto him
from Spaine, and for the taking of
the same for the producents accompt. And otherwise hee cannot depose.
