The fifteenth day of June 1653. [CENTRE HEADING]

Examined upon an allegation on behalfe
of the sayd Michael Perry Severino

John Stueten Paep, of Naer in Lukeland
merchant aged three and thirty yeares or
thereabouts a witnes sworne and examined
deposeth and saith as followeth vidlicet.

To the first Article of the sayd Allegation this deponent saith and deposeth
that the arlate Michael Perry Severino a merchant of Saint Lucar in Spaine
in or about the latter end of the month of September 1652 laded aboard the [?shipp]
Sampson arlate then rising att an anchor in the bay of Cadize two [?bags]
of peeces of eight Peru moneyes conteyning six hundred three [?XXX]
abd one peices of eight told or counted in the producents howse in Saint Lucar and [?later
being aboard the Sampson and seening them laden aboard as aforesayd hee

saith they were and are marked with the first marke in the margent

And he saith that he saw in the howse of diego Vande [?wire] a factor of
the producent in Cadize one Case of Chocolat marked with the [?fowerth]
marke in the margent, which he then told this deponent was belonging to
the producent, and afterwards allso told this deponent that he had laded the [?same]
aboard the shipp Salvador for the sayd Producents Accompt. And this deponent
saith that he saw in the howse of the producent in Saint Lucar six serions of
Sassa parilla which the sayd Michael Perry afterwards in Cadize told
this deponent that he had laden for his owne Accompt aboard the sayd shipp
the Salvador. And this deponent further saith that the sayd Michael
Perry Severino in the monethes of September and October arlate [?at]
