To the third article of the sayd allegation This deponent saith that after the lading
of the sayd sylver as aforesayd, and on or about the fourth day of October
1652 This deponent saw the arlate John martinsdorp signe and firme
three bills of lading all of one tenor for the same, one of which sayd
bills of lading was on board the sayd shipp Saint George att the tyme of
seizure, and came into the hands of the Takers who have since sent the
same into the Registry of this Court where this deponent hath ssene the
same, and the contents thereof were and are true, and the same was and
is signed with the proper handwriting of him the sayd John martinsdorp,
and otherwise cannot depose.
