Robert Nappen of Pomnoll in the county of
Dorsett gentleman aged 25 yeares or thereabouts sworne before
the right worshipfull Sir Henry Marten Knight Judge of his Majestyes
high Court of the Admiralty saith and deposeth uppon
his oath That uppon or about the 17tth day of this
instant June this examinate delivering to a servant of
Edward Siddenham Esquire cooper of Portland at his house
in the Covent Garden neere London a warrant under
the hand of Sir Henry Marten Knight Judge of his Majestyes
highe Court of the Admiralty desiring the said
Mr Siddenham, to appeare before him at his
Chamber in the Doctors Commons on a day therein specified
and that warrant (as Mr Siddenham hath since
confessed to this examinate) hee receive, but
did not appeare before Sir Henry Marten accordinge
to the same because hee had then occasion to wayte uppon
the Kinge, and in or uppon the 19th of this moneth hee
this examinate delivered another warrant under the hand of
the said Sir Henry Marten to him the said Mr
Siddenham
