  • Insert immediately after the sentence or phrase you wish to annotate the following macro:<ref>This is the footnote text</ref>
  • Replace 'This is the footnote text' with the footnote you wish to add, using the format: first name, surname, title, (place of publication, date of publication), page or folio number
  • Save the page

Transcription

of London, within the time arlate, without entringe
the said security or allowance of this rendent
and soe continued as reputed master thereof
for two or three yeares as this rendent likewise beleiveth dureinge all which time
nor ever the said ffletcher was owner of any
part of the said ship as this rendent beleeveth
and otherwise hee doth not beleeve the said
perused position to bee trew in any part.

To the second hee answereth that hee doth not
beleeve the same to be true in any part./

To the third hee answereth that after the said
ffletcher had in fact aforesaid within the time arlate
got into the said ship, hee did goe away with the
same, and kept the same out of the knowledge
and sight of this rendent for two or three
yeares space as this rendent beleiveth, dureing which time this rendent
could not knowe or Learne where the said
ship was though he did by himselfe and
agents, much enquire after the said ship
with an Intent to arrest the same for the
acquiringe his possession of the
said ship againe, and disposeing of the
said ffletcher from such his intrusion
therein, dureinge all which time that the
said ffletcher soe kept and detained the
said ship out of the knowledge of this
rendent, hee the said ffletcher did without
the knowledge and contrary to the good
likeinge of this rendent let out and
employ the said ship accordinge to his
will and pleasure, and converted the benefitt
and profitt to his owne use, without giveinge
