Transcription

To the 11th negatively, saying the man of warrs Company [?sXXX]
the Company of the Anne and margaret, and tooke away all the[?ir] [?XX]
and goods they had, and left them only their Clothes which they had on
their Backs which were very bad./:

To the 12th, hee saith that most of the Company of the said Shipp
received five monethes pay of their wages for the Voyage in question
and further cannot Answer.

To the 13th, hee saith

Examined on an allegation on behalfe of the sayd Bellers
Glover ffowke and Company

James Seeley of the parish of Saint Olave in the Old Jewry London
Armourer, aged thirty nyne yeares or thereabouts a
wittnesse sworne and examined saith and deposeth as
followeth videlicet./

To the first second third fowerth
and fifth articles of the sayd allegation and the schedule in the sayd [?allegation
specified hee saith that the arlate ffrancis Bellers Richard Glover and Thomas [?ffowke]
were in the moneths and tyme arlate togeather with others of their company
(and before) Commonly reputed the true and lawfull Owners and Proprietors of the
arlate shipp the Constant Mary (whereof the arlate Daniell Leisler was
Master for a voyage to be made with her from London to Guinney)
And hee saith that the sayd Bellers Glover and ffowke in behalfe of them
selves and other the Owners of the sayd ship did in order to the fitting her for
the sayd voyage with a Cargoe of goods in the moneth of January one
thousand sixe hundred fifty three (English style) buy of this deponent
the Copper Rodds and Manelas in the schedule arlate specified to be
sent in the sayd shipp from London to Guinney the voyage in question and ordered them
to be delivered aboard the sayd shipp to the sayd Daniell Leisler the Master
of her for the voyage in question, And this deponent accordingly casued
them to be delivered aboard the sayd shipp to the sayd Leisler about the latter
end of the sayd moneth of January or beginning of ffebruary 1653 English
style
