IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN The Thirteenth day of October in the Third year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord and Lady William and Mary by the grace of God over England Scotland ffrance and Ireland King and Queen exr Annodom One thousand six hundred ninety one I Richard Oxinden of the City of Rochester in the County of Kent Esq:r being in perfect mind and memory thanks be to God do make

and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following ffirst I bequeath my Soul to God that gave it My body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried by my Exeutrix the charge thereof not to exceed ten pounds And as for my worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me I dispose the same as followeth

IMPRIMIS I give to the poore of the parish where I shall be buried fforty shillings

ITEM I give to my Son Ensign Richard Oxinden fforty shillings

ITEM I give to my loveing cousens Edward Hopton and Constance his Wife fforty shillings a piece to buy each of them a Ring to wear in remembrance of me or otherwise to imploy as they shall think fit

ITEM I give to my well beloved Kinsman Richard Oxinden of Grays Inn in the County of Middx Esq:r fforty shillings

ITEM I give to my approved ffriend John Lloyd of the Inner Temple London Esq:r fforty shillings

ITEM I give to my honest ffreind Capt John Brewer heretofore Gentleman Pensioner to King Charles the Second fforty shillings

ITEM I give and devise unto Sarah my dear and loving wife all these my five pieces or parcells of Marsh Land containing by estimacon eighteen Acres with the appurtenances lying and being in Woodnesborough als Winsborough near the Town and Port of Sandwich in the said County of Kent now or late in the tenure or occupacon of Abraham ??Houles and William Mandy or their Assignes And all these my three pieces or parcells of Marsh Land called Abbotts Mead containing by estimacon sixt and twenty Acres more or less with the appurtenances in Shoulden in the said County of Kent now or late in the tenure or occupacon of Edward Morris or his Assignes and all other my Lands Tenements and hereditaments whatsoever with the appurtenances in Woodnesborough als Winsborough and Shoulden aforesaid or in either of them or elesewhere in the said County of Kent To have and to hold to her the said Sarah my Wife and to her heirs and Assignes for ever

ITEM all the rest and residue of my goods and chattles and personall Estate whatsoever not herein before by me otherwise disposed after my debts and Legacies paid I do give and bequeath unto my said loving wife Sarah who I hereby constitute ordain and appoint sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament And I do hereby countermand and revoke and make void all formerand other Wills by me at any time heretofore made or published
