Editorial history

22/11/11, CSG: Added transcription

Abstract & context

Henry Andrews (alias Henrie Andrewes) was a London merchant and alderman, who had considerable financial success.

Writing his will in XXXX, he referred to his daughter Elizabeth Mico and her husband, his son-in-law, Samuell Mico, and to a second son-in-law, James Fenn.

He was a member of the Honourable Artillery Company, to which left a legacy.

His post mortem inventory has survived, for both his combined London house and commercial premises in XXXX, and for his country house in Laytonstow (alias Laytonstone), Essex. This inventory provides useful information about his houses, their furnishings, and his commercial operation.
