IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I Edward Goodenough of the parish of S:t Olave Hartstreete London, Cittizen and plaisterer of London being sicke and weake in body but in good sound and disposeing Minde and memory praised bee Almighty therefore doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testam:t in manner and forme followeing,

That is to say FFIRST and principally I doe commend my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my only Maker and Creatour hopeing assuredly through the Merritts of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to be made partaker of everlasting happines,

And my body I committ to the Earth from Whence it cae to bee decently and in Chrystian like manner interred by and at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named

And as touching such all Worldly goods and Estate as it hath pleased the Lord of his Mercy to make mee a disposer of I doe give devise bequeath and dispose of the same in manner and (sic) following That is to say

IMPRIMIS I give and bequeath unto my kinsman John Goodenough the summe of One Hundred pounds of Lawfull Money of England,

ITEM I give and bequeath unto my kinswoman Ellen Goodenough the summe of One Hundred pounds of like money,

ITEM I give and bequeath unto my cousen Jane Taylor the summe of ffifty pouds of like money

ITEM I give and bequeath unto my Syster Jane ?Fillett the summe of Twenty pounds of like money

ITEM I give and bequeath into John Fillett, Sonne of my said Syster Jane Fillett, The summe of Thirty pounds of like money

ITEM I give and bequeath unto my Maid servant Katherine Winter, the summ of ffive pounds of like money

ITEM I give and bequeath into Charity M:r Giles daughter his Maid, the summe of ffive pounds of like money

ITEM I give and bequeath unto Twenty poore people of the aforesaid parish of S:t Olave Hartstreete in London, such as my Wife shall Judge most indigent, and necessetous, and to each of them Tenn shillings a peece in money, and One halfe Chaldren of Coles a peece to bee distributed unto and among them, by and at the discretion of my said Wife

ITEM I give and bequeath unto my Loveing ffreinds John Heather Esquire Henry ?Diny:ter Esquire and M:r Giles Muster and to each of them the summe of fforty shillings a peece of like money to buy each of them a Ring

ITEM I give and bequeath into my loveing freind M:r Edward Brewer the summe of ffive pounds of like money

ITEM I give and bequeath unto my loveing sister Anne ?Reves the Messuage or House Scituate and being in Horse and Trumpett yard in or neare Cruched ffriars in the parishe of S:t Olave Hartstreete in London aforesaid and wherein shee now dwelleth for and duringsoe long tyme of the terme granted by my Lease thereof which shalbe to come and unexpired at the tyme of my decease as

shee my said Sister Anne Reeves shall happen to live gratis, and REnt free,

ITEM I give and bequeath unto my wife Elizabeth Goodenough the aforesaid messuage or house with the appurtenances wherein my said sister Anne Reeves now dwellleth from, and ymediately after the decease of my said Sister Anne Reeves, To bee had and holden into and by my said Wife Elizabeth Goodenoughe, and her assignes for and during all the residue, of the terme graunted by my Lease thereof which shall bee to come and unexpired at the tyme of my said Syster Anne Reeves her decease,If in case my said wife shall happen to suvive and outlive my said Syster, Anne Reeves, and shall soe long live,

ITEM I give and bequeath All those two Messuages or Tenements and a yard with their appurtenances Scituate , and being in Horse and Trumpett yard, in or near to Cruched ffryers aforesaid, now in the Occupacon of my self and Beniamin Spencer, which togeather with the aforesaid house Wherein my said Syster Anne Reeves now dwells, I doe hold by Lease of One M:r Congrave unto my said wife Elizabeth Goodenough, for and during soe long time of the terme granted by my Lease thereof as my said wife shall happen to live

ITEM I doe give, and bequeath the aforesaid Three Messuages, or Tenements and yard with their appurtenances, now in the occupacon of my said Syster Anne Reeves, and of my selfe and of the aforesaid Beniamin Spencer, scituate and being in Horse and Trumpett yard in Crutched ffryers aforesaid from and ymediatly after y deceases of my said Syster Anne Reeves, and of my said Wife and of the longest Liver of them unto my said Kinsman John Goodenough for and during the rest and residue of the terme granted by my Lease thereof w:ch shalbe then to come and unexpired To bee by him the said John Goodenough his Executors, Administrators and assignes had and enioyed for and during all the said rest and residue of the said terme under the Rents and Covenants in my said Lease thereof reserved and conteyned on the Leases part to bee paid and pformed

ITEM I give and bequeath into my said Syster Anne Reeves All that Messuage or Tenement with the appurtenance now in the occupacon of John Stone and scituate and being in Gunpowder Alley in the aforesaid parish of S:t Olave Hartstreete in London for and during soe long time of the terme grannted by my Lease thereof, As my said syster Anne Reeeves shall happen to live Gratis and Rentfree

ITEM I give and bequeath into my asid Wife Elizabeth Goodenough the said Messuage or Tenement with their appurtenances in the occupacon of the said John Stone, and scituate and being in Gunpowder Alley aforesaid from and ymediatly after the decease of my said Syster Anne Reeves to bee had and holden by my said Wife Elizabeth Goodenough and her assignes for and during all the rest and residue of the terme granted by my Lease thereof which shallbe to come and unexpired at the tyme of my said Syster Anne Reeves her decease. If in case my said Wife shall happem tp survive and outlive my said Sister Anne Reeves and shall soe long live

ITEM I give and bequeath unto my said Wife Elizabeth Goodenough All those my two Messuages or tenements with their appurtenances and now in the occupacon of Richard Wiston and John Dewil and scituate and being in Gunpowder Alley in the aforesaid parish of S:t Olave Hartstreete in London Which togeather with the aforesaid Messuage or Tenement in the Occupacon of the aforesaid John Stone I doe hold by Lease of one Master ?Haytings, And all that now built Messuage or Tenement with the appurtenances now in the Occupacon of Robert ?Weddell, and Scituate and being in a certaine new streete called Princesstreete and scituate and being near the place formerly called the Stocks at the Lower end of Cornehill in or neere the parish of St Christopher in London which I doe hold by Lease of One Trystram ComXXs Esquire And all that Messuage or Tenement with the appurtenances now in the occupacon of Richard Walford and being in Crutched ffryers in the

AFORESAID parish of S:t Olave Hartstreet in London which I doe hold by Lease of one Thomas Osborne and all that Messuage or Tennement with the appurtenances now in the occupation of John Hitchcocke Cooke and scituate and being over against Seething Lane in the said parish of S:t Olave Hartstreet in London, which I doe hold by Lease of one Richard Symons To have and to hold the same foure Messuages or tenements with their appurteanances in the occupations of the said Richard Weston John Dewill Robert Weddell Richard Walford and John Hitchcock unto my said wife Elizabeth Goodenough and her assignes from and imediately after my decease for and dureing all the rest and residue of the severall and respective termes of yeares by my severall Leases of the said premisses granted which shall be then to come and unexpired (if my said wife shall soe long live)

ITEM I doe give devise and bequeath the said new built Messuage or Tenement with the appurtenances cituate and being in Princes street aforesaid and now in the occupation of the said Robert Weddell from and imediately after the decease of my said wife unto my said kinseman John Goodenough
