Abstract & context

C10/99/66 f. 1 is the answer of John Pack, a former servant of the London merchant Edward Wood, to a Bill of complaint brought by the English East India Company.

The original Bill of Complaint is missing, though the separate answer of Sir George Smith, Sir William Ryder, Edward Wood and Maurice Thompson survives as C10/99/70 f. 1.
