Biographical synthesis

John Barfoot (b. ca. 1611; d. ?). Mariner.

"Being gunner in and of the said shipp in her last two Voiages the first for Lisbone and the last for the Canaries".

Resident in 1655 in Wapping in the parish of Stepney.

Evidence from High Court of Admiralty

Forty-four year old John Barfoot deposed on March 20th 1655 in the High Court of Admiralty. He was examined on an allegation on behalf of John Salmon in the case of "John Salmon against Edward Bushell and John Bushell".[1]
