The Lord Protector et cetera against John Brewer}
Budd Smith}

Friday the 9th of Aprill 1654 before doctor
Clerke and doctor Godolphin Judges et cetera
in the presence of Samuel how: Notary publique
Appeared Mr Budd and alleadged that this
Court had formerly ordered the said Brewer
to demannd the Argal and looking glasses by him
bought of the Commissioners for prize goods and to pay for
the same according to the agreement betweene him
and them in that behalfe made and therefore hee
desired a monition to be decreed against him to performe
the said order upon wednesday next which the Judges of his
petition did decree/.

Burton Budd}

Which day before all the Judges et cetera in
the dyninge chamber et cetera in the presence of
Samuel howe notary publicke Appeared the
said Budd and alleadged that the said
Burton hath bought severall goods of the Commissioners
for Commissioners (sic) for prize goods at a certaine price
betweene them agreed and that he doth refuse to pay
for the same according to the agreement betweene him and
them in that behalfe made The Judges at the petition of the
said Budd did decree the said Burton to be monished to
pay the money agreed for the said goods by him bought to
the Commissioners aforesaid for the use of the Lord Protector immediately
after monition or else to appeare immediate et cetera to shew cause why hee
should not be compelled to pay the same./.

whereof James Bamford deceased was and}
nowGiles Laurence is master belonging to}
themselves against Abraham Reynardson Esquire}
and Roberta Bamford executrix of the said}
Bamford if they thinke themselves concerned}
and all et cetera ffranklin}

Which day the said ffrancklin exhibited the
originall mandate with the certificate thereon
indorsed and upon [?preconihation] being
made for all in this behalfe cited
Appeared Mr Budd for the said
Reynardson and Suckley for the said
Bamford and made themselves party for
them respectively and the said Budd
alleadged that hee on the behalfe of the
said Reynardson hath obtained a primum decretum
against one 16th parte of the said shippe and that
the said ffrancklin ought not to proceed upon his
said warrants untill he have paid the contumacy
fees in this behalfe due and give baile to answeare
the action commenced by the said Reynardson against the said
parte and the said Suckley likewise alleadged on the
behalfe of the said Rebecka Bamford that he on her
behalfe hath obtained a primum decretum against another 16th parte
of the said shippe and that the said ffrancklin ought not to
proceed upon the said warrant untill he shall pay the contumacy fees
in that behalfe due and give baile to answeare the action commenced by
her against the said parte the said ffrancklin declaring that he doth not
proceed against either of those parts of the said shippe against which either the
said Abraham Reynardson or the said Rebecka Bamford have
obtained a primum decretum and accusing the contumacy [?fall] others in
this behalfe cited and noe body appearing The Judges pronounced them
contumaceous
