Transcription

Bellers Glover ffowke and Company were alsoe the tyme aforesayd
Commonly reputed the true and lawfull Owners and Proprietors of the
severall quantities of provisions and of the severall goods wares and
Merchandizes schedulate And further to this article hee cannot depose

To the 3 and 4th articles of the sayd allegation hee saith hee cannot of his certayne
knowledge depose, but hath heard a report to the effect arlate by seamen
who were (as they sayd) of the Company of an other shipp who was taken
about the same tyme and by the same shipp that the Constant Mary
and her ladeing and provisions were seized by And further hee cannot depose/

To the 5th hee cannot depose

To the 6th 7th and 8th articles of the sayd allegation hee saith hee
cannot depose./

To the 9th hee saith as aforesayd that hee hath heard the Constant Mary
and her ladeing were seized on the eighth of May 1654 and beleeveth
that if shee had not bin soe seized her owners might have lett her
to freight forvoyages from London to Guinney and thence to the Barbados
and thence to London for forty pounds a moneth or better untill this tyme
And further hee cannot depose/

To the 10th saving his foregoeing deposition hee cannot depose only
hee beleeveth the sayd Owners by the losse of ttheir sayd shipp goods
and provisions and the profitt they would have produced and in losse of the
freight shee might have yeilded ever since her seizure till now, have
bin and are damnified to a very great and considerable value but
what to estimate the same at hee knoweth not./

To the 11th hee saith hee referreth himselfe to his foregeoing deposition
and to the date of the proclamation of the peace articulate And
further cannot depose

To the last hee saith his foregoeing deposition is true/

feild Late Cooper of the ship the Anne and Margarett
aged 28 yeeres or thereabouts sworne, and Examined.

To the first article hee saith that for, and during all the time arlate
the arlate Charles Sanders, was master and Comander of the arlate
shipp the Anne and Margarett, and had the Care, and Charge
of her as Master of her, which hee knoweth for that hee this deponent
went all the said Voyage Coooper of her, namely from the 11th of [?June]
1657 (which was the day they went from Gravesend) untill the third (which
was the day of her taking hereafter mentioned) And further hee
cannot depose, saving hee saith that one Mr Nicholas Warren is
Commonly accomted a part owner of the said ship:/.

To the second hee saith that within the time mentioned and Expressed in the
first article of the Allegation the arlate Charles Sanders being to goe with
the said ship upon a Trading Voyage from Hence to Redon in ffrance
