Transcription

To the 9th hee answereth, That the said factors did as aforesaid after
the lading of the said goods by letter of advise acquaint this rendent
that they had laden the same for the accompt aforeaid:-/

To the 10th hee saith, That hee this rendent was and is a Native
of Terveer alias Camp Veere in Zeeland where hee hath had his
settled residence ever since his infancie, And saith hee hath no part
nor interest in the shipp and goods now claymed in any manner
whatsoever, neither doeth hee expect any benefitt or advantage by the
restitutio of the same.

To the 11th hee saith, That hee hath in his precedent deposition declared
what goods and effects of the said producents the said factors had in
their hands, in returne whereof they sent him the goods in question
and saith the goods transmitted by the said producent to his said
factors were sent in the said shipp the Goulden faclcon at severall
times before any eruption of hostility betwixt this and the dutch
Nations, and that they were sent out of Zeeland./

To the 12th hee saith, That hee this rendent in regard of the said
producents exile and abdication as aforesaid was and is the said
producents Agent and Correspondent in Zeeland where this
rendent was borne as aforesaid, And otherwise negatively referring
himselfe to his precedent deposition:-

To the 13th hee saith he doeth not knowe, neither doeth hee in
Conscience beleeve that the goods now Claimed or any part thereof
did or doeth belong to any Subject or Subjects of the States or [?kinge]
interrate, the said producent, being as aforesaid a Subject of the
king of Spaine long before the seizure of the goods in question:-/

To the 14th hee saith, the said shipp sailed onely in her Ballast upon her
last outwards voiage from Middleburgh, And otherwise referreth
himselfe to his foregoeing deposition:-/

To the 15th hee referreth himself to his precedent deposition, in which hee
hath expressed his knowledge both as to the outward and inward
lading of the said shipp:-/

To the 16th hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition And
further cannot depose.

To the 17th hee saith, That no Ensurance was made upon the [?said]
shipp or goods, nor any money taken up upon bottomrie of the said
shipp since shee was designed upon the Voiage in question

To the 18th hee saith hee last saw the interrate daniel Thysson
about an hower since here in doctors Commons, and saith the
said daniel Thysen was not in holland or Zeeland in
