Transcription

To the 12th Interrogatorie hee saith hee knoweth nothing of
the Contents of this Interrogatorie, otherwise or further then hee hath
formerly deposed/:

To the 13th hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition, And further
cannot depose/

To the 14th hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition, wherein hee
hath declared his knowledge as to the Contents of this Interrogatorie./

To the 15th hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition, And otherwise
negatively saying hee never heard any order save as is predeposed./

To the 16th hee saith hee knoweth the Ports of London Cyprus
Zant, Longoone and Porta fferrara, and saith in this deponents
estimation it is about 40. Leagues out of the direct Course from
Cyprus for London to touch at Zant Porta Longoone or Porta
fferrara interrate. And further cannot depose./

To the 17th hee saith, That with an ordinary and usuall wind and
weather a shipp in two or three moneths space may saile from Cyprus
to London, and saith so much is usuall and often performed/

To the 18th hee saith, That with convenient wind and weather a
shipp may come from Porta fferrara interrate to London in or about a moneths time And
further hee cannot depose having no skill in letting shipps to
fraight./

To the 19th hee saith the interrate Porta Longoone is under the
dominion of the king of Spaine; and Porta fferrara under the
duke of fflorence./

To the 20th hee saith, That according to this rendents best Judgement
Corsica interrate is about 50. leagues out of the direct
Course from Zant to London/

To the Interrogatories in the 2d place being 13./ [CENTRE HEADING]

To the first hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition, and
saith hee first knew the said Chewne and one of the two ffowkes
interrate at Cyprus, and knoweth not where they have lived for
all the time interrate, but hath been with them since the yeare
1651. interrate at Cyprus and Scanderoone, and with the said
Chewne at Porta Longone/

To the second hee saith the said fowkes and Chewne are commonly
accompted batchelors and sojourners And further knoweth not./

To the third hee doeth not know nor hath understood any thing of
the partnershipp interrate./

To the fourth hee saith hee hath not deposed to the article or Allegation
interrate./

To the fifth hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition, And
further cannot depose./
