Transcription

To the 6th hee saith, hee remembreth not, that ever he heard of hostility
betwixt the English and the Tripoly men before this Voyage at
Cyprus, but saith hee hath for some yeares last past observed, and heard
a rumour in Englandm that ffrenchmen of warr have seized and doe seize
English shipps, And so much hee beleeveth was and is notorious/

To the 7th hee saith hee hath not deposed to the Article interrate:/

To the Interrogatories exhibited the 15th of december 1654:- [CENTRE HEADING]

To the 1. Interrogatorie and schedule therein mentioned hee saith the same
doe not concerne this rendent:-/

To the 2. hee saith hee this rendent was at Leghorne in the yeare 1652
interrate in or about the moneth of december and saith a dutch fleete
was then there, And further cannot depose./

To the 3. hee saith hee knoweth nothing thereof./

To the 4th and schedule therein mentioned hee cannot depose./

To the 5th hee hath not deposed to the article interrate./

To the 6. hee saith hee hath not deposed to the article interrate:-/

To the 7. 8. and 9th Interrogatories hee saith hee hath not deposed to the 10th 12th
and 16th articles interrate:-

To the 10th negatively for his part And further cannot depose./

To the 11th hee saith, the shipp Thomas Bonadventure interrate was and is
an English built shipp of about 300. tunns burthen as hee beleeveth, and saith
the Master and Companie consisting of about 46. men and boyes were
as hee beleeveth all English, and saith shee was armed with 24. Gunns

To the 12th hee saith, hee knoweth nothing thereof, having never been in Turkey
save onely in the Voyage in question./

To the 13th hee saith hee knoweth nothing thereof not being at Cyprus in the
moneths of July, August and September interrate, save onely that this rendent being arrived at Porto
Longone, there understood that the shipp Imployment interrate was departed
from Cyprus for London./

To the 14th hee saith, that the Currance interrate were unladen at Porta
fferrara together with the rest of the said shipps lading, and saith a quantity
of Currance was brought in the said shipp to London, but for whose accompt
hee knoweth not. And further cannot depose./

To the 15th hee saith hee hath not soe deposed./

To the 16th hee saith hee hath not soe deposed./

To the 17th 18th and 19th Interrogatories hee saith hee hath not deposed to the
articles interrate./

To the 20th hee saith hee knoweth nothing thereof./

To the 21th hee saith hee hath not soe deposed./
