To the 9th hee answereth negatively, saying the said producent as
hee imparted to this deponent purposed to imploy his said silver
at Antwerp in buying of lace to be transported to the Indies for
which place hee was intended to retourne with the proceede of his said silver.

To the 11th hee saith that hee this deponent is a native of Segovia
in Spaine and hath noe constant habitation but where his money
is for the time being there hee accompteth his house to bee, hee being
also a batchelour. and using a voyaging manner of life in traffique
And otherwise negatively.

Merchant aged 34 yeares or thereabouts sworne and
examined.

To the first article of the said allegation hee saith and deposeth that
hee well knoweth the producent and hath soe donne for theise tenn
yeares last, and was well acquainted with him in the West Indieas where
hee and this deponent exercised merchandize, and saith that the said
