singular the sayd moneys and plate for the use and accompt of him the sayd
John de Losa Barona to be transported in the sayd shipps respectively from
Cadize att his adventure to Ostend and there to be delivered to him the
sayd producent or his Assigned for his sole use and accompt, this deponent

being present when the sayd producent gave order to the sayd Carasco to
lade the sayd money and plate for his use as aforesayd and standing
upon the shoare in the Bay of Cadiz and there seeing the sayd
moneys and plate putt into boates and seeing the sayd boates arrive
in safety att the sayd shipps whereon the sayd sylver and money was to
be laden respectively, and upon the return of the sayd Boates he this
deponent saw the notes and Receipts which the sayd masters of the sayd
shipps sent to the producent by the hands of the sayd Nicholas Carasco
Thomas Sanchez de rissa, and Antonio Estevan de Balderas of and for
the receyving the sayd moneys and plate aboard their said shipps
respectively. And he further saith that he this deponent att the desire
of the producent attt [Limma] in Peru of the West Indies took a memoriall
in writing of all and singular the sayd moneys goods and sylver
that in case of death in so long a voyage the sayd moneys plate and
goods might the better come to such as should have the producents
right in them, by meanes of which memoriall he the better remembreth
the particular parcells of the sayd money and sylver as aforesayd. And further
he cannot depose referring himselfe for the more and better certainty
of the number of the Ryalls aforesayd and the weight of the plate aforesayd
to the Bills of lading to the allegation annexed and the bills of lading
for the sayd plate and money abiding in the Registry of the Court
wherein [the] [same] [are] [particularly] [exprst] the weight of the sayd twenty three barretons aboard the Salvador onely [excepted] And he saith that the
arlate John de Losa Barona shipped himselfe in the sayd shipp the
Saint George and came along in her from Cadiz and was in her when
she was taken by the Parliaments shipps the deponent comeing along
with him aboard the sayd shipp. And otherwise he cannot depose.

To the third he saith that after the lading of the sayd sylver money and goods
as aforesayd the sayd shipps Sampson Salvador and Saint George set
sayle from Cadiz toward Ostend and in their course thither
in the English Channel were seized by some of the Parliaments shipps and
brought to this Port of London. And saith that att the tyme of the sayd
seizure the respective parcells of money playe and goods remained
aboard the sayd respective shipps whereon they were laden respectively
and came into the posession of the Takers, this deponent being abaord
the Saint George aforesayd att the tyme of seizure with which the two
oher shipps sayled in Company from Cales aforesayd. And further he
cannot depose

To the fourth he saith that after the lading of the sayd moneys plate and goods
as aforesayd he this deponent did see the respective Captaines or
Masters of the sayd shipps signe Bills of lading for all and singular
the sayd parcells of money and sylver with their markes numbers and
weight in Cadiz aforesayd, (the sayd trunkes or Chests of table plate
with the linnen therein and the sayd little case with the things therein and the
furniture for bedding excepted for which noe Bill of lading was signed as
this deponent beleiveth.) that is to say the sayd John Martinsdorp signed
Bills of lading for all the momeys and sylver laden aboard the Saint Geor[ge]
as aforesayd, (the sayd table plate onely excepted) And the sayd Otto George
signed Bills of lading for all the sylver playe laden aboard the Samp[son]
as aforesayd. And the sayd Christian Cloppenbergh signed Bills [of]
lading
