To the 2. negatively to every part thereof
To the 3. and 4th Interrogatories he saith that for the reasons aforesayd, and
for that the producents had severall effects in their hands of the sayd
Lader of the sylver in question ffrancisco de la Sierpe to say stuffes
bayes fustians and other English Manufactures sent to him from hence
in the yeares 1651. and 1652, to a great value
of which they expected returnes from him in sylver he is as
he saith well assured and firmely beleiveth that they the
foresayd Claymers were and are the sole and lawfull Owners
of the sayd sylver as being part of the proceed of the
sayd English mManufactures, and that the foresayd [?lams] or
[?Lamman] have noe share therein because theu are the producents
factors and concerned therein as factors onely, and for that the sayd
English Manufactires whereof the sayd sylver by the sayd
de la Sierpes advises appeares to be in part of proceed were
of this deponents knowledge keeping the Bookes of accompts of
the sayd Moore as aforesayd sent to the sayd de la Sierpe to Cadiz
upon the sole accompt and adventure of the sayd Mr Mathewes
Beake and Moore. And otherwise he saith he cannot depose.
