said Shipp in the place and office of a Steeresman or Master his Mate And otherwise referringe
himselfe to his precedent depositions hee cannot answeare
To the second Interrogatory hee answereth That the said producents are commonly reputed [?subiects] of
Hamborowe and doe both live in one Streete in Hamborough afforesaid And otherwise [?saveing]
his precedent depositions he cannot answeare
To the third Interrogatory hee answeareth That the silver predeposed was Laden aboard the said Shipp
Saint Michael in the bay of Cadiz as afforesaid by order and direction of and from the said producents
ffactors but the names of the said ffactors hee knoweth not but sayeth there were Lighter[?men]
or Barkmen whoe assisted them in the bringeing the same aboard but cannot remember att
what time of the say or night precisely it was brought on board but is sure That hee this [?rendent] [?XXX]
putt the said Silver aboard the Saint Michael afforesaid with his this rendents owne hands.
To the 4th and fifth hee sayeth That for his part hee did not take any noate in writeinge of the markes and numbers of the Silver
predeposed but onely knoweth the same by the bills of Ladeinge whereunto hee referreth himselfe
And further to this Interrogatory saveing his precedent depositions hee cannot answeare
To the 6th hee answeareth as afforesaid and otherwise cannot depose
To the 7th and 8th Interrogatoryes hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing depositions and further cannot
answeare
To the 9th hee answeareth That otherwise than by the Bill of Ladeinge which hee hath heard
foresaid John Lowe acknowledge hee had signed uppon the receipt of the said Silver
hee doth not know that the same was or is laden for the adventure and accompt of the producents
And otherwise referringe himselfe to his former Depositions and to the said Bill of Ladeing
hee cannot answeare
To the 10th Interrogatory hee sayeth That hee doth not knowe that the said Silver [?showed him]
[?XXX] [?XXXX] to buy other Port or place but Hambororugh nor that the same should have been
transported from thence to any Place in Holland or under the Jurisdiction of the States of
the United Provinces [?XXXX]
To the 11th hee knoweth not any thinge concerning the contents thereof
To the 12th Interrogatory hee answareth That he is a Native of Hamborough And otherwise negatively
To the 13th Interrogatory hee knoweth nothing thereof them as aforesaid
To the 14th. 15 Interrogatoryes hee sayeth That the said Shipp the Saint Michael was [?sailt] with a [?XXX]
Norway and went therewith to Cadiz as afforesaid where the same were sold for the
accompt of the skipper afforesaid and his owners and otherwise negatively.
To the 16th hee answeareth negatively
To the 17 and 18th hee knoweth of no other silver or money which was
laden aboard the Saint Michael [?XXX] but the Silver predeposed and other Silver expressed in the
severall bills of Ladeing which were taken away with the Bill of Ladeing predeposed [?upon]
the seizure of the said Shipp excepting twoe [?CXX] of Silver for the [?XXXX] of [?XXX]
propper accompt And otherwise negatively for his part
To the 19th he hath nooe thing [?to] [?XXX] his beleife concerneing the [?XXX] of the Bill of
Ladeing [?XXXX] but the Likeness of the [?rate] his hand which he beleiveth to be the [?XXX]
which the Master told him hee had [?signe] uppon thereceipt of the said Sillver att Cadiz [?XX]
To the 20th interogatory hee answeareth That the Bill of Laders predeposed was brought from Cadiz to
England by the skipper aforesaud
To the 21 Interrogatorie hee referreth negatively for his part neither doth hee [?XXXXXX]
goods of the said shipp were taken away by any of this [?rendents] shippes Company/
