all the rest of the parties above mentioned and this deponent
have bin at Leghorne since they were soe sent in a boat from
the Saint Martyn, And saith that from Trapana they all went
in one Vessell to Palermo and from thence 5 of them went in
one of the duke of Florences his Gallies to Leghorne and the others
went thither allsoe in a Trapena Barque. and after they had
there furnished themselves with moneyes this deponent with the
producents and three other Armenians that
are now come thither came in one barque from Leghorne to Marseillia
and from thence came over land through France to Callice where they
tooke a boate and soe came to Dover and from thence to
London - And otherwise hee cannot depose

Examined upon the fore said allegation.

Hohaj kamal of Bursia in the kingdome of
Bithinia and Territoria of the Grand Seignour
or Turkish Emperour, Marchant aged 42
yeares or thereabouts, sworne and examined.
To the first and second articles of the said allegation and to the bills of
lading or schedules annexed hee saith and deposeth that hee well
knoweth the producents hoiah Jacomo, hoia Sarankan and hoiah
Safer, and saith they were within the time arlate and before and at
the times of the lading and seizure of the goods and mentioned in the said
schedules, and are at present the true and lawfull owners
and proporietors thereof, videlicet the said hoijah Jacomo of the goods
mentioned in the first of the said schedul[?a]s, hoiah Sarankan of
those mentioned in the second and hoiah Sarankan of those [XXXX GUTTER]
in the third of the said bills of lading and for such commonly [?accompted GUTTER]
And saith that within the time arlate they the said persons laded the
said goods at Smirna aboard the shipp the Saint Martin arlate for
their owne proper accompts to be thence carried and transported
in the said shipp to and delivered at Ligorn[?a] for their use and [?to GUTTER]
them or their assignes according to the said schedul[?a]s, All which hee
knoweth because hee was present at Guil[?e]n in Persia in company
of the said Sarankan and Safer when they bought the silk[?e] mentioned
in their respective bills which was about sixteene monethes since at which
time and place hee sawe the said Sarankan buy and pay for the [?foresaid GUTTER]
bales of silke mentioned in this bill being the third schedul[?a] and
in their company hee came with the said goods and [?with GUTTER]
some of his owne from Guiland to Smirna and by the way [XXX GUTTER]
met with the arlate hoiah Jacomo at Erzerum who there [XXX GUTTER]
to the [XXXXan] and brought the bale of severall
marchandizes mentioned in the said first schedule and [XXXXX GUTTER]
therewith in their company and with the said Caravan [?consisting GUTTER]
about 34 Camells and some horses, and att Snyrna this deponent
sawe the said respective producents lade the said severall goods [XXX GUTTER
the said shipp to be[?e] transported as aforesaid, And otherwise hee cannot
depose.
